How to reset the safe?

Forgot your code? Quickly reset the safe.

If your safe allows emergency manual override and you have forgotten your user code, do the following:

Search and press manual transcription button (usually inside the battery box or under the keyboard cover).
Set the code again by pressing the buttons simultaneously „Tick.“ (or „Enter“) and „3“.
Then follow the standard instructions for „User code settings“ (see the instructions for the safe) and choose your new code.

How to open a dead safe?

The safe is empty with an electronic lock usually has a backup plan.

Check the emergency key: Your safe is probably equipped with emergency key (master key). Search and use it to open directly.
External power supply: Many safes allow external battery connection (usually 9V, via the contacts on the keypad) to temporarily power the lock. Try opening the safe with a new battery connected externally.

Is the key missing or is there a problem with the lock? Don't experiment! In this case, it is necessary to contact a professional locksmith, which opens the safe safely and without damage.

How to open the safe without a code?

Lost code or dead battery? The rescue is called the Revision Key!

Emergency opening:

If you do not have available programmed code or is the safe's battery is fully discharged, the lock can usually be opened by a revision (emergency) key.

⚠️ Key Rule: Keep the revision key at a safe place, and that is NEVER inside the vault!

How to open the safe for the first time?

Get ready to use the safe for the first time. This procedure is typically for the first time opening and ensuring that the lock is ready for use:

Remove the disc: Look for a small central disk (marked e.g. „2“), which is located between the keyboard/number pad and the handle. Carefully remove it (see Figure 2).

Insert and turn the key: Insert the key into the lock. Turn the key anti-clockwise.

Turn the handle: At the same time as turning the key turn the door handle clockwise.

The safe is now open! After the first opening, follow the manufacturer's instructions to set your security code.
